Introduction to Ultrasonic Technology and Its Applications: Ultrasonic technology is one of the general technologies based on physics, electronics, mechanics, and materials science. Ultrasonic technology is accomplished through the physical process of generating, propagating, and receiving ultrasonic waves. Ultrasonic waves have characteristics such as focusing, orientation, reflection, and transmission. According to the different sizes of ultrasonic vibration radiation, it can be roughly divided into: 1. The power application that uses ultrasonic waves to change objects or physical properties is called power ultrasound. For example, when sufficient energy is generated in a liquid, cavitation occurs, which can be used for cleaning and emulsification. 2. Using ultrasound to obtain certain information and obtain communication applications is called detection ultrasound. For example, using the pulse reflection of ultrasound in a medium to measure the thickness of an object is called ultrasonic thickness measurement.  

Ultrasonic cleaning principle: Ultrasonic cleaning belongs to physical cleaning, where the cleaning solution is placed in a tank and ultrasonic waves are applied in the tank. Due to the fact that ultrasound, like sound waves, is a dense vibration wave, the pressure of the medium alternates during propagation. In the negative pressure zone, a tearing force is generated in the liquid, forming vacuum bubbles. When the sound pressure reaches a certain value, the bubbles grow rapidly, and in the positive pressure area, the bubbles are crushed and closed due to pressure. At this point, the collision between liquids generates a powerful shock wave. Although the displacement and velocity are very small, the acceleration is very large, and the local pressure can reach several thousand atmospheres, which is called cavitation effect.
